Coro Lux will present Considering Matthew Shepard, a moving and transformative musical experience composed and conducted by Grammy-nominated composer Craig Hella Johnson.

Considering Matthew Shepard tells the story of Matthew Shepard, the young gay man whose 1998 murder in Wyoming became a pivotal moment in the national conversation on hate crimes and LGBTQ+ rights. While the oratorio begins with tragedy, it ultimately offers a message of hope, compassion, and healing.

Joining the performances as narrators will be Ali MacGraw, renowned actress and activist, and Spencer Beckwith, respected arts journalist and advocate for the performing arts in New Mexico.
