Immanuel is committed to playing a central role in fostering partnerships within the community. Immanuel helped form ABQ FaithWorks, a collaborative interfaith group which supports refugees, asylum seekers, and the unhoused, or those at risk of becoming so. We offer space for multiple recovery groups such as Narcotics Anonymous, Grateful Girls, and CoDA, and for local non-profits that in turn serve the community. Immanuel provides rehearsal and performance space for the NM Philharmonic, the UNM Symphonic Program, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and others. In partnership with the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association and Nob Hill Main Street, we support local businesses and engage with residents. Immanuel shares our commercial kitchen with food truck entrepreneurs and provided incubator space for Soo Bak Seoul Bowl, the dream of a local Korean-American chef, now a popular restaurant adjacent to the church building. Immanuel is engaged in our community.
