Immanuel Presbyterian Church Finale Celebration
Immanuel Presbyterian Church and the Presbytery of Santa Fe have recently made a brave and generous decision to donate the historic Immanuel building at 114 Carlisle Blvd SE as a gift to the State of New Mexico so that it can be preserved as a landmark in this neighborhood and used for public benefit.
Immanuel Presbyterian Church is in the process of uniting congregations with Covenant Presbyterian Church at 9315 Candelaria Rd NE in Albuquerque. John M. Orr was a charter member of Immanuel. He was the first person ordained into pastoral ministry from Immanuel and soon thereafter became the founding pastor of Covenant. The Revs. Drew Henry & Seth Finch, currently pastors of these congregations, will serve as co-pastors of this new joint congregational witness at Covenant.
You are invited to join the Immanuel congregation and community in a Finale Celebration on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 12:00 noon. The celebration will include Words of Gratitude from church and community members, including Senator Antoinette Sedillo Lopez, representing NM Senate District 16, and the Rev. Anthony Larson, Co-Moderator of the 226th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), as well as Musical Performances by some special groups, including de Profundis. A reception will follow.
Note - Parking in the Nob Hill Business Center lot across Carlisle Blvd from Immanuel is not allowed for church events. If you will be driving, please use either of the two church lots or nearby street parking.
